What Is Influencer Marketing?

Influencer marketing is all about partnering up with people who’ve already won the trust and attention of their audience. These aren’t just “social media stars”—they’re credible voices in their niche, and act as a form of third party endorsement. With the right collaboration, their authentic recommendations elevate your brand as a must-visit destination!

How to Make Influencer Marketing Work for Your Hospitality Brand

  1. Set Clear Goals and Intentions: Are you aiming to boost brand visibility, drive traffic, or launch a new service? Nail down your goals to guide your strategy and measure success.
  2. Scout the Perfect Influencers: It’s not about the biggest following; it’s about the right fit. Look for influencers who align with your brand values and have a strong, engaged community.
  3. Collaborate on Creative Content: Work closely with influencers to craft content that’s not just on-brand, but also captivating and shareable. Let their authentic tone of voice and creativity shine.
  4. Build Real, Lasting Relationships: Influencer partnerships should feel as authentic as your brand. Engage with them genuinely—show interest in their work, and they’ll likely show interest in yours.
  5. Track, Measure, Repeat: Keep an eye on performance metrics like engagement rates, reach, and conversions to understand what’s working—and what’s not. Refine your approach based on these insights.

Client Case Study

Penelope’s, located in the heart of Sydney CBD has achieved significant success through strategic influencer marketing, leveraging the power of third-party endorsements to increase brand awareness and visibility. Utilising the power of TikTok as a search tool (similar to Google), Penelope’s has achieved one of the top results when searching for ‘Circular Quay Restaurants’ thanks to the power of influencer collaborations.

This influencer strategy has proven to be highly effective, driving greater engagement, increased exposure and increased bums on seats.

@feastonit_ Finally tried this NEW restaurant everyone’s been talking about 😍🙌🏻 Penelope’s (Circular Quay) is a new modern Australian restaurant, with a diverse range of influences evident in the food, including Indonesian, Italian, Vietnamese AND Middle Eastern elements. The restaurant’s aim was to highlight the different cultures within Sydney 🙌🏻 I was honestly really impressed with all of the food and flavours, particularly the Bakar Chicken and Lamb Shoulder 😍🔥 We shared a range of dishes below: ✨ Entrees: Sydney Rock Oyster, Grilled Flatbread & Short Rib Ragu ✨ Mains: Bakar Chicken & Lakemba-spiced lamb shoulder ✨ Sides: Roast Carrots, Charred Cauliflower Blossoms & Chips ✨ Dessert: Hot Fudge Sundae However, the food unfortunately took a long time to come out (especially between the entrees and mains). Our lunch ended up lasting around 3 hours, mainly because of this 🥲⏰ Besides that, we still had a really great time and we LOVED all of the food, so I’d still recommend going here for the food! 💯👏🏻 📍Penelope’s, Circular Quay 🎥 Follow @feastonit_ for more recs!
